La Bisbal d'Empordà has many cultural activities and services so all visitors can enjoy the city from its many different points of interest: crafts, shopping, ceramics, heritage sites, fairs and markets, antiquities, castles, history, etc.
On the one hand, the city boasts an open air shopping center located in the old town, with a variety of high quality shops set in amidst historic sites. Aigüeta street houses the majority of ceramics shops in town. These demonstrate the importance of the ceramics sector for La Bisbal. Most of the shops in Carrer Aigüeta are open from 10:00 to 20:30, Monday to Sunday, except Christmas, New Year's and very few other holidays.

La Bisbal is also known for its antique shops, as the charm of restoring furniture has led to a series of workshops and related establishments being opened in La Bisbal d'Empordà. OPEN AIR SHOPPING CENTRE
La Bisbal d'Empordà has a large shopping area in the old town centre where one can find all kinds of shops and products. This is another attraction for visitors and is a place where one can shop in comfort. The majority of the shops open from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:30, Monday to Saturday.
